We wander local streets and stop at the market. Great looking figs and stone fruit!
We walk past some interesting buildings and find that a lovely old cafe that was built and decorated in an Art Nouveau style where Ed and I shared coffee has closed. It is sad that great venues for food and drink cannot afford to stay open.
Ed wants us to visit a famous book shop, famous for its staircase. Again we are not allowed to take photos - only during the week for an hour each day.
We wander through a market and then back to the apartment.
We will come back and visit later in the trip.
Teresa is making lunch - chicken, pork and rabbit. Ana purchased some little cakes and a cake typically eaten at Easter and Christmas. Lunch was yummy!
We rest a little and get organised to head off on Monday.
Ed bought a stand and a knife for the proscuito. He is in heaven looking at his work.
Dinner is a repeat of lunch except Jorge is home from work. With eight of us around the table it makes for some exciting dinner conversation.
Ciao for now.
