Great cakes!
Went back grabbed kids and headed to the Cathdral. It is one of the oldest in Europe as well as being one of the largest. We spent a couple of hours enjoying all of the chapels, tower and treasures. It was amazing!

We were all in need of some refreshments headed off to lunch. We had tapas at Oriza. Lovely food and wine. Yummy!

We had full bellies again so made a move to visit the Alcazar. Had to line up for a little while bit it was worth it. It is a magnificent building with beautiful gardens.

Went home for a 30 minute refresher then off for tapas again. On the way we encountered the festa of the Three Kings.

They repeated the same street parade from Friday - festa of the Kings. The kids dressed up and travelled on floats. Lollies were flung everywhere!
































There is some great bike riding food that you appear to be eating. Enjoy the good weather.

ReplyDeleteI love Spain and the memories of my visits are flooding back. The Alcarza and the CHurch where Christopher Columbus is buried is a real homage to him by the four Kings and Queens he served. They are carrying his casket. Quiet amazing. Enjoy.
