Continued heading to Spain and hit Badajoz. It would be great exploring the city but alas only had time to walk walls of the old walled city.
Back in the car we headed south toward Seville. We are staying in the old city. Dropped off our bags and headed out to stroll like the natives.
Plaza Mayor
Sangria all round!
We had lovely tapas for dinnet: cuttlefish, veal knuckle, pork loin with rochefort sauce, chick peas with spinach and goat. Yum!
The lights are beautiful.
Today is the Festa do Reis!
Ed and I worked up an appetite for a vino, beer and some pippis. This tapas bar is just a few doors up from our hotel.
Our waiter kept tabs on everyone by writing in chalk on the bar.
Great tapas! Great day!

These photos are making me want to visit Spain in July when I go to see Georgia!! The food and sights look delightful!
ReplyDeleteFood and Seville are great. I too want to come back.
