Leaving up north

We all slept in this morning. The shutters on the windows block out all the light. We had a lovely brekkie and Amadeu and Alexandrina came to see us off.

Maria Joao did not let us make a quick exit as she let us tour the old house and stables. She eas very generous explaining the rich history of the house. After our goodbyes we headed to the cemetry in Canedo. We took some photos so that we can make some entries in the family tree.

Lunch was in Arco on the way home. Chicken ribs and grilled steak, rice, chips and salad and of course a little vino. Sated we headed home.

The river was perfect on our return so we headed out to take some pics! Ahhhhh!!!!
