Costa Nova

Ed and I took care of breakfast today - pancakes with maple syrup. After we had our fill we headed for the ferry. We cut our trip in half by driving onto the ferry at Sao Jacintro

It is something Joaquim has never done. We all enjoyed being out on the water.
We drove towards Costa Nova where the homes look like lolly pops but before we got there we stopped at a park and enjoyed some of the activities.

The exercise equipment proved to be very entertaining.
We got to our destination and went for a stroll. It is good to see lots of people and activity although it was a little difficult finding somewhere to eat.

Lunch at a local restaurant
Pippies and local seafood was the fare of the day. Lunch was delicious.
We head home and start packing our bags. Teresa and Ana organise dinner. A feast!
Sabrina had an altercation with a rabbit and hurt her leg. She had her dinner whilst lying on the lounge.
Aftet dinner we head to Torreira for coffee and dessert.

Ana, Jorge, Cristina and Edward
Ana, Ed and Cristina use to work together at another restaurant owned by Cristina's father.
We will be leaving Edwards family on Tuesday and will be heddind towards Lisbon to catch our flight to Dubai next Thursday.
Edward's parents are starting to get sad.

  1. Jack looks a little uncomfortable on the exercise machine. Were the pippies caught or bought, they look very fresh. Sabrina attacked by a rabbit. It must be a descendant from the one from Monty Python, "That's no ordinary rabbit'! I can show her when she gets home.
The lollipops do look unusual. More like beach huts.

Stay safe. Love the Scott's. Looking forward to catching up. Communicating without speaking.

  2. Jack was stressed because we are coming home. Brina and Mitch are looking forward to Monty Python. The pippies were locally caught and served at the restaurant where we had lunch.
